Dark Grid Mod for iTunes 9

iTunes 9 has introduced a totally new look, okay that's cool, but with him a new grid mode totally white, horrible isn't it ? So with this mod you will can get back the black grid mode in iTunes and you can choose between 4 styles :
- iTunes 9 with Yellow LCD (default)
- iTunes 9 with Grey LCD
- iTunes 8 with Yellow LCD
- iTunes 8 with Grey LCD
FEATURES :
-Compatible on ALL LANGUAGES
-Compatible on Leopard and Snow Leopard
-4 styles to choice (listed below)

Notice that this package only works on Intel Macs

    Also just noticed that if itunes is not the app in front the lighter color that it turns to still has a shine/sheen to it unlike the other apple apps. If you could fix that too I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

    Alex : There is a mod on the binary of iTunes + 8 .rsrc (20mo each) and the original iTunes installer to get back to white ;)

    Allen : Simple, relaunch one of installer for your OS, and choose a “yellow LCD” option (Y)

    So, I have snow leopard and my movies now, after installing the grey background mod (which i love), have a greyish outline around them and it’s ugly/annoying. Is it possible to make everything dark except the movie preview? Otherwise, this is a great improvement!!

    Sur PPC G4 / 10.5, certaines choses sont modifiées :

    - le fond de l’écran devient gris et il me semble que son reflet disparaît
    - la bande en haut de la fenêtre devient mate
    - mais les fonds restent blancs !

    Installed and everything seems fine with Snow Leopard except that every time i open iTunes, the OSX Firewall requests that i reauthorize “incoming connections”. This should be a question that’s asked only once when first opening a new program, but i’m re-asked the same question every time i open iTunes.

    Any ideas?

    I’m having the same issue as you; black text on gray. The sample screenie (link near top of page) shows white text, so something is wrong.

    Good news. I just re-install and everything’s fine.

    *Maybe* the 1st time I install it, I didn’t quit iTunes first and the installer couldn’t overwrite/replace some files, resulting in the black text thingy.

    J’ai toutefois un problème mineur : depuis l’application du mod, iTunes me redemande à chaque démarrage si je veux accepter les connexions entrantes. S’agit-il d’un bug connu ou d’un problème sur ma config ?

    can you make this same grey color background for “List View”, with white or light grey text? or maybe even include a slider that will take the color from dark grey to white. i not too keen on the grid view, although i love that you’ve offered the ability to make the background grey. my eyes are really, really sensitive. and i use two 30″ monitors with a black desktop background. when i open itunes, its just soooo bright. i can barely look at it. i’ve got a 300GB music collection that i listen to every day for hours. but the light background is starting to give me a headache nowadays. if you can make something for the List View, wow, that would be amazing. thanks for listening :-)
